BUDAÖRS VILLA INTERIOR DESIGN

Located in the hills of Budaörs, this modern villa was designed around the clients’ wish for a dark, elegant and intimate home. Stone, metal and dark timber bring depth to the main living spaces, while carefully placed lighting, artwork and softer furnishings give each room its own character.

A Sculptural Centrepiece

The staircase forms a focal point of the interior. Stone surfaces, dark timber and a suspended cluster of glass pendants draw the eye through the double-height space. Beneath the stairs, integrated bookshelves and a generous built-in seat create a quieter place to read or pause, arranged around a sculptural indoor tree.

Living, Dining and Kitchen

On the ground floor, a spacious living area connects with the dining space and a partially enclosed kitchen. The kitchen can feel open to the main room while its ribbed sliding partitions offer a degree of separation. Stone counters and a strongly veined backsplash sit alongside warm metallic finishes and timber cabinetry. In the living area, a deep sectional sofa, layered lighting and integrated media and display joinery make the space feel inviting as well as dramatic.

The gallery also shows how the home’s mood shifts between rooms. A softly toned bedroom, with full-height curtains and tactile textiles, offers a calmer counterpoint to the darker shared spaces. In the bathroom, an illuminated stone feature wall, recessed display niches and a sculptural freestanding bath create a quieter, spa-like atmosphere.

A Home Arranged Across Two Storeys

The ground floor contains the main living area, open or partially open kitchen, cinema room, guest bedroom, laundry and master bedroom. The upper floor is where the main entrance leads to an elegant office, three further bedrooms and a cigar room, with direct access to the garage. Across both levels, the design balances expressive materials and intimate rooms with practical connections between the spaces.
