BEDŐ HÁZ PROJECT

This apartment, located in the iconic Bedő Ház, one of Budapest’s treasured Art Nouveau landmarks, was designed to bring old-world charm into modern rhythm. Our goal was to create a home that feels warm and personal, yet still honors the historical spirit of the building.

Throughout the space, we worked with a soft, inviting palette: creamy whites, rich terracotta, warm oak, and natural stone.

These tones help keep the interior feeling calm and grounded, even with high ceilings and ornate details. The layout was designed to flow naturally, open, airy, and full of light.

In the living and bedroom areas, we introduced curved forms, layered textiles, and refined brass details. Art prints, custom shelving, and sculptural lighting bring personality to the space, while still letting the architecture shine. A soft divider made of fluted glass and warm wood creates gentle separation without closing off the space ideal for city living.

The kitchen and bathroom carry the same attention to contrast and texture. Elegant marble surfaces, aged brass fixtures, and deep, wine-colored walls create a mood that’s both cozy and bold.

Every element was chosen to feel intentional, tactile, and timeless. The result is an apartment that balances classic and contemporary, quiet and confident, a space that feels rooted in Budapest, yet ready for modern life.
